Impulse Wave Pattern

Impulse Wave Pattern

In Elliot Wave Theory, a sudden increase or decrease in a stock's price that coincides with the underlying trend. That is, if the trend is upward, the impulse wave is a sudden spike in price; if the trend is downward, the opposite is the case. Unlike other, similar theories, the Elliott Wave Theory does not apply any particular time frame to its waves.
