VAL

ISO 4217 code for the Vatican lira. It was introduced in 1929 upon the Vatican's independence from Italy. It was pegged to the Italian lira at a one-to-one ratio. Vatican and Italian coins circulated alongside each other in both the Vatican and Italy. The euro replaced both currencies in 1999.

Exhaustive exercise significantly increased the levels of valine, leucine, methionine, 5-oxo-proline, glutamic acid, ornithine, linoleic acid, oleic acid, arachidonic acid, 3-hydroxybutyric acid, as well as urea, phosphate, and myo-inositol.
The appearance of [14N] was higher in valine and lysine as compared to glutamic and aspartic acid.
A similar study was conducted successfully, which depicts that exon 4 and 8 in Tp53 gene have different mutations in dog mammary tumors cases, in which CDS Positions 147, 248, 266 and 287 proved missense and changes the valine residue to serine, arginine to proline, glycine to proline and glutamic acid to valine respectively.
It was also observed that values of some metabolites in lavender-treated group, including alanine, glutamine, serine, isoleucine, valine, carnitine, isobutyrate, pantothenate, glucose and asparagine reversed to control values which proposed the effectiveness of the therapy (Figure 3).
In maple syrup urine disease, due to deficiency of branched-chain [alpha]-keto acid dehydrogenase, the degradation of the essential branched-chain amino acids leucine, valine, and isoleucine and their corresponding 2-ketoacids is impaired.
Among the amino acids detected in the gland and in the venom bag of Apis florea are serine and valine [27], also found in P.
However, no studies have been conducted to estimate the effect of SID valine:lysine ratio on BCAA metabolism and degradation in weaned pigs.

Further biochemical study with plasma amino acid analysis showed a leucine level of 4163.6 [micro]mol/L (reference values: 42-133.1 [micro]mol/L), isoleucine of 499.8 [micro]mol/L (15.1-74.9 [micro]mol/L), and valine of 784.3 [micro]mol/L (73.6--273.1 [micro]mol/L).
Maple syrup urine disease (MSUD) is an autosomal recessive inherited metabolic disease caused by decreased enzyme activity of branched-chain alpha-ketoacid dehydrogenase complex (BCKDC), responsible for catabolism of leucine (leu), valine (val), and isoleucine (isoleu).
(2) These tests are real-time polymerase chain reaction-based assays designed to detect missense mutations at nucleotide position 1799 of BRAF, which result in the substitution of valine at amino acid position 600 of the BRAF protein (BRAF V600 mutations).
