Timesheet

A document indicating the hours in a pay period during which an employee worked. This may be used to determine how much to pay an employee or it may serve as proof of work when billing a client.

time sheet

document completed by a worker in which he or she itemizes the work tasks undertaken and the time spent on each task. This information can be used for COSTING purposes in computing the direct labour cost of JOBS and as a basis for calculating PAY.
