Envelope
In technical analysis, two moving averages of a security's price indicating its upper and lower limits. That is, a price tends not to move above the higher moving average or below the lower moving average. Analysts use envelopes to help them determine buy and sell signals. When a price reaches the higher moving average, analysts may declare a sell signal, while they may declare a buy signal when a price reaches the lower moving average.
