stock-turnover ratio

a measure of a firm's stockholdings that expresses the firm's SALES REVENUE as a ratio of its period-end STOCK, to show how many times stocks are turned over in sales during a period's trading. See also STOCK CONTROL, STOCKHOLDING MODEL.
