A shopping center devoted to a particular market segment. The most common type has upscale fashion and home accessory stores. It may or may not have an anchor, but usually does have a number of restaurants for the “shopping as entertainment”market segment.Another type caters to certain demographic groups,such as a shopping center with largely Hispanic-themed merchandise and restaurants, and a high percentage of Hispanic shop owners.
