Test

The event of a price movement that approaches a support level or a resistance level established earlier by the market. A test is passed if prices do not go below the support or resistance level, and the test is failed if prices go on to new lows or highs.

test

The attempt by a stock price or a stock market average to break through a support level or a resistance level. For example, a stock that has declined to $20 on several occasions without moving lower may be expected to test this support level once again. Failing to fall below $20 one more time would be considered a successful test of the support level and a bullish sign for the stock.

The variety of possible defects of the coating in the scratch test makes consistent interpretation of results difficult.
To calculate the scratch hardness of the coated layer, the data of the scratch test for the scratch distance before the critical point must be used.
Following the ASTM/ISO standards for the scratch test of polymeric materials [37, 38], a series of scratch tests with the scratch velocity of 100 mm/s were performed for PP using a home-made scratch machine referring to the literature [39].
In the back scratch test; the dominant arm was measured via a tape measure duringboth pre-test and post-test.
Table 2 demonstrates the within-group and between-group differences of motor function-related outcomes for the two groups, including fine motor control, fine motor function, handgrip strength, arm strength and endurance, shoulder mobility, leg strength, and dynamic balance as measured by Spiral Drawing Test, Moberg Pickup Test, Handgrip Strength Test, Arm Curl-Up Test, Back Scratch Test, Chair Stand Test, and Timed Up and Go Test, respectively.
TenasiTech has measured the scratch resistance of the PVC/ PMMA alloy sheet and seen a tripling of the force required to leave a permanent scratch, as per the Erichsen Scratch test (Fig.
It is, in fact, well established that the most critical factor controlling the scratch test is the nature of the stylus tip.
The aim of this work is to study the influence of the coating composition and structure on coating behavior under the two types of loading, which are the most frequently found in practice: monotone loading: the microindentation test and dynamic loading: scratch test. Therefore, damage mechanisms and different failure modes that occurred as a result of microindentation and scratch tests were discussed.
Patch and scratch tests were conducted to the rabbits to rule out any allergic reaction to the ointment when applied topically.
The residual scratch patterns are characterized by a massive pileup at their sides and ahead of the last position of contact between the indenter and the coating surface at the end of the progressive load scratch test. This is the evidence of the ductility of the coating system, despite the presence of the loose wooden particles inside the ductile polymeric binder.
Even though the intradermal injection (skin scratch test) of extracts of the suspected allergen has long been reported to lack scientific validity because it is often not reproducible, it continues to be a popular testing procedure among traditional allergists.
Active external rotation was 100% restricted and provoked pain at the posterior axillary fold, and combined internal rotation, extension and adduction (Apley's inferior scratch test) of the right shoulder revealed significant restriction on the right compared with the left with a 20 cm discrepancy from side to side.
