Respondent

A person or organization required to answer a legal proceeding. For example, if a company is sued, the company is called the respondent because it must respond to the charges or risk a summary judgment. See also: Petitioner.

Cluster analysis It has been highly recommended that cluster analysis be conducted to complement the results of correspondence analysis (Lebart, 1994), because of the possibility of shrinkage and/or distortion due to the effect of outliers of the principle dimension in correspondence respondence. The results of cluster analysis are robust against the effect of the outliers and can provide more detailed information about the distances between the variables and categories.
