pre-acquisition profitsthe profits made by a company up to the date of its acquisition or TAKEOVER by the HOLDING COMPANY. Such pre-acquisition profits belong to the original shareholders of that company and where the holding company acquires less than 100% of the subsidiary company's shares then a proportion of the pre-acquisition profits belong to the MINORITY INTERESTS.
