Oscillator

In technical analysis, a model for finding prices at which a security is overbought and oversold. An oscillator finds two extreme prices using various methods and finds buy signals and sell signals when the price of the security approaches each. One of the most common oscillators is the Stochastic oscillator. See also: Price ceiling, Price floor.
