Kaffirs

South African gold mining shares that trade on the London Stock Exchange.

Kaffirs

Informal for shares in a South African publicly-traded company, especially a gold mining company. Kaffirs trade on both the London Stock Exchange and the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, as well as in the United States as American Depository Receipts.
