industrial relations audit
industrial relations audita systematic examination and assessment of the quality and effectiveness of existing INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS procedures in an organization. The aim is not so much to quantify precisely their costs and benefits but to determine whether they are the most appropriate for the organization's needs. Issues that usually need to be considered are the incidence and resolution of grievances and conflicts, and the structure of and approach to COLLECTIVE BARGAINING over PAY and conditions of employment.
