impacted information

the degree to which information is known to some parties to a CONTRACT but not known to other parties to the contract. Information impactedness is a characteristic of TRANSACTIONS in which the parties to a contract are inclined to operate opportunistically in the presence of uncertainty and complexity surrounding the contract.

Information impactedness tends to result when information is costly and information is asymmetrically distributed
