Good Delivery and Settlement Procedures
Standardized practices for how and when trades are settled and underlying goods delivered. Among other things, good delivery and settlement practices indicate when a seller may notify a buyer of intent to deliver and at what point payment must be made. The PSA Uniform Practices set out good delivery and settlement procedures.

Delivery of a security that meets all the standards required to transfer title to the buyer. Thus, a certificate must be delivered on time with proper denomination, endorsements, and endorsement guarantee. Compare bad delivery.
