The two-character ISO 3166 country code for GEORGIA.

1. ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code for the Gilbert and Ellice Islands prior to their re-designation as Kiribati and Tuvalu. This was the code used in international transactions to and from bank accounts in the islands.

2. ISO 3166-2 geocode for the Gilbert and Ellice Islands. This was used as an international standard for shipping to the Gilbert and Ellice Islands.

In both cases, the code is obsolete.
