Et Al.
A Latin abbreviation meaning "and others." It is used in many contexts to state that there are other parties involved. For example, one may refer to the authors of a book written by Marinelli, Moreno and Sookiasian as "Marinelli et al." Likewise, legal documents would use the same shorthand if all three decided to sue their publisher.
