Economic Output

For example, if a widget factory produces 30,000 widgets in April and is open seven days a week, its output may be measured as 1,000 widgets per day. Economic output may be expressed as a monetary value and may be compared against the costs to produce the output (sometimes called the input).

Systolic dysfunction represents decreased myocardial contractility with subsequent decreased cardiac output. The decreased cardiac output stimulates sympathetic activity and blood volume expansion via the activation of the reninangiotensin-aldosterone axis.
It's likely that anergia is related to the decreased cardiac output and low blood pressure often found in heart failure.
Look for hypovolemia or decreased cardiac output. Often the systolic pressure will start to fall as cardiac output decreases.
However, in fulminant cases, impaired venous return and decreased cardiac output might result in potentially fatal hypotension.
In the vertical position, multiple factors may lead to decreased arterial or venous circulation, such as decreased cardiac output or loss of autoregulation.
This decline is caused primarily by a reduction in maximum heart rate and stroke volume and, in turn, decreased cardiac output.
Another cause of decreased cardiac output occurs when heart muscle becomes overstretched.
If there are no signs of decreased cardiac output, then no treatment is necessary, but the child should continue to be monitored.
