How many of us are justified in
casting the first stone in a situation like this?
Not that I'm getting all holier than thou about this, you understand, although given the fact that I did attend an Easter service - albeit one organised by my son's school - I do have dibs on
casting the first stone, if I might be allowed a little Biblical imagery there.
But apparently nothing the priest said will stop her from
casting the first stone.
The passage he refers to as
casting the first stone comes in fact at John 7:53-8:11 and the non-fundamentalist biblical scholar, James Moffat, refers to this as a primitive tradition.
