The lateral part of the pars distalis: pars distalis (PaD), acidophilic cell (AC),
basophilic cell (BC), chromophobe cell (CC), sinusoid (Sin), somatotroph cell (SC), thyrotroph cell (TC), gonadotroph cell (GC), corticotroph cell (ACTHC).
Figures 3(c) and 3(d) showed that basophils/eosinophils and BEAS-2B cells could be analyzed separately based on the expression of specific
basophilic cell surface marker CD203c on basophils (Figure 3(c)) and distinct forward light scatters (FSC) together with side light scatters (SSC) of eosinophils in dot plots (Figure 3(d)) using flow cytometry.
The dermis showed a well circumscribed cystic lesion arranged in lobules, comprising of clear cells and
basophilic cells. In between the cells microcystic spaces were seen which were filled with protenacious material.
Dark
basophilic cells were often located in the peripheral area, whereas pale
basophilic cells were located in the central area (Figure 2).
Histopathology typically shows horn cysts, tumor islands composed of
basophilic cells of basaloid appearance arranged in peripheral palisading pattern.4,5
As opposed to the
basophilic cells of the normal pituitary gland, that were negative for EG-VEGF, the
basophilic cells of pituitary adenomas had a relatively increased expression of EG-VEGF.

basophilic cells and nasal eosinophils from age 4 months through 4 years in children of atopic parents," The Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, vol.
Spheroid type 3, contained the most
basophilic cells and was encapsulated by thick fibrous connective tissue.
