Account Statement
1. In banking, a statement detailing all credits and debits to an account over a given period of time. It is also called a bank statement.

bank statement
a periodic record of an individual's or business's transactions with a BANK (or BUILDING SOCIETY) which itemizes on the one hand cash deposits and cheques paid in, and on the other hand cash withdrawals and cheques drawn and presented against the account.A company's bank statement needs to be reconciled periodically against the firm's own CASH ACCOUNT to verify the accuracy of its cash account.
