call watch

call watch

A service provided by independent organizations that monitor the actions of bond issuers in order to inform clients, such as financial advisors, trustees, and individual investors, that their bonds have been called for redemption before maturity. A call watch is particularly valuable to holders of bearer bonds for which no records of ownership are maintained by the issuers.
