Group of Twenty Four

Group of Twenty Four

An informal group composed of 24 developing countries all over the world. The G-24 exists to ensure developing countries are represented at international discussions of monetary issues. It was established in 1971 and maintains its headquarters at the IMF, even though the two are not formally affiliated.
