Diversified Common Stock Fund

Diversified Common Stock Fund

A mutual fund that invests in the common stock of a wide variety of publicly-traded companies. A diversified common stock fund often holds shares in companies with different market capitalization and in different industries. This reduces the risk to a particular industry or stock while also allowing investors to take advantage of dividends from common stock.
