Anticipated Value at Maturity

The redemption value of one share in a bond fund (a mutual fund in which most or all securities represented in it are bonds) based upon the weighted average maturity of the bonds represented in the fund. The anticipated value at maturity has only a loose impact on the fund's share price. See also: Anticipated Growth Rate.
