Amero

Amero

A proposed currency for a hypothetical monetary union of Canada, Mexico, and the United States. Proponents of the amero argue that it would save billions in foreign exchange transactions and would increase trade. Critics cite both loss of independent monetary policies and national sovereignty as reasons for opposing the amero.
