Advertisers Liability Insurance

An insurance policy providing coverage for an advertiser or advertising agency in the event an advertisement makes a false statement or an omission that results in a lawsuit. For example, if an ad slanders a competing product and the competing company sues, advertising liability insurance protects both the company making the advertised product and the agency advertising it.
