Advance Against Collection

Advance Against Collection

A short-term loan that a bank makes to an exporter, secured by what the exporter is owed by an importer. The bank may collect these funds from the importer directly. If the importer does not make payment, the bank retrieves the advanced against collection loan from the exporter.
