The group, which sold its first light bulb a few years after it was founded in 1891, listed its Philips Lighting division, known as Signify, on the
Amsterdam stock exchange in March last year.
A statement on the
Amsterdam stock exchange by Broadview said: "The transaction is a good fit with Broadview's strategy.
Vopak is publicly traded on the
Amsterdam Stock Exchange.
Once a star of the
Amsterdam stock exchange, the company was forced to bid very low for contracts following the collapse of the Dutch construction market in 2008.
ABN Amro, which traces its roots back to the 19th century, was listed on the
Amsterdam Stock Exchange before being bought in 2007 by a consortium consisting of Spanish Santander, the Royal Bank of Scotland and Belgian-Dutch Fortis.
Following the transaction, Ziggo will be delisted from the
Amsterdam Stock Exchange as of 22 December and a squeeze-out procedure will be initiated to allow Liberty Global to purchase all of the remaining shares of the target that it still does not own.

ING said that it would float a minority stake in NN on the
Amsterdam stock exchange in the coming weeks, if market conditions were favourable.
The markets on Wednesday reacted favourably to ASML's results, with its shares jumping 5.94 percent to 66.85 euros in mid-morning trade on the
Amsterdam stock exchange's AEX index, which itself climbed by 0.47 percent.
