The current study was planned to use EDX evaluation to find out the commonest pattern and frequent aetiology as well as document the neurophysiological findings of nerve injury in patients with wrist drop. It was also planned to compare the study population based on gender, involved side of the body, and military versus civilian population.
Signs include high-stepping gait associated with bilateral foot drop and, in severe cases, quadriplegia with foot and wrist drop as well as pyramidal signs.
The possible causes of wrist drop in the present case could be compression injury by blood pressure cuff or by malpositioning of the arm or direct injury to the posterior cord in the axilla and severe C7-8 radiculopathy
