Will Variation(redirected from Will Variations)
A law allowing the widow(er) or children of a decedent to contest a will if they believe the will does not adequately provide for them. Wills are intended to carry out the wishes of the deceased; thus, will variation does not guarantee that the decedent's relatives will actually receive anything from the estate.
