Western Union

An American financial services company. It provides wire transfers, money orders and similar services. It is especially popular among persons without bank accounts who need to transfer money. It began as a telegraph company in 1851. It is based in Englewood, Colorado.

The agreement was signed by Saeed Mohammad Al Tayer, managing director and CEO of Dewa, and Hatem Sulaiman, regional vice-president for the Middle East, Pakistan and Afghanistan at Western Union.
'Western Union is delivering on our pledge to expand more digital and physical channels for money transfers to provide choice and more convenience for our customers,' said Bassem Awada, Western Union regional vice president for Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, the Philippines and Brunei Darussalam.
