Warsaw Stock Exchange

A major stock exchange in Poland. It was established in 1991 after the fall of Communism. Upon its establishment, only five stocks were listed. It grew by leaps and bounds in the 1990s and, in 2008, it was designated as an "advanced market" by FTSE.
