Waiver of Coinsurance Clause

A clause in a property insurance contract relinquishing the normal requirement that the policyholder pay some coinsurance, which is a type of payment the policyholder must make along with the insurer if an insured event occurs. The policyholder may be required to pay a higher premium for this waiver.
