Upside/Downside Ratio(redirected from Upside-Downside Ratio)
On the New York Stock Exchange, the ratio of the volume of publicly-traded companies closing up for the day to the volume of those closing down. A high upside/downside ratio indicates a bullish trend on the NYSE, and is used as an indicator of trends in the wider equity market.
