Thursday/Friday Dollars(redirected from Thursday-Friday Dollars)
A foreign exchange transaction in which a bank buys U.S. dollars on Thursday and sells them on Friday using a clearing house check. Because the check is issued on Friday, the exchange will not clear until the following Monday. As a result, one is entitled to higher interest on Thursday/Friday dollars.
