Thrift Institution Advisory Council

Thrift Institution Advisory Council (TIAC)

A council, established following the passage of the Monetary Control Act of 1980, whose purpose is to provide information and views on the special needs and problems of thrifts. The group is comprised of representatives of savings banks, savings and loan associations, and creditor unions.

At the national level, Berrish served on the Federal Reserve Board of Governor's Thrift Institution Advisory Council (2005-2007), was a member of CUNA's Payments Policy Subcommittee (2007-2012) and currently serves on the board of NAFCU.
