A currency code for the Tuvaluan dollar. Tuvaluan dollars only circulate as coins because Tuvalu uses Australian dollar banknotes; Australian coins are used as well. The two dollars are pegged at a one-to-one ratio. The Tuvaluan dollar was issued in 1976. This code is not recognized by the ISO.
