Shareholder Meeting

Any meeting in which the shareholders of a publicly-traded company discuss and vote on matters pertaining to the company. At a shareholder meeting, the company may present its financial reports. Shareholders also may ask questions of the board of directors. Publicly-traded companies are required to have at least one such meeting each year; management may also call an extraordinary general meeting at its discretion.

Actic Group AB (STO:ATIC), an operator of a chain of health and fitness clubs, reported on Thursday that at the extraordinary shareholders' meeting, held on 18 January 2018, shareholders resolved, in accordance with the nomination committee's proposal, that the board of directors shall consist of five ordinary members without deputy members.
