Quiet Filing(redirected from Quiet Filings)
The registration of a new issue with the SEC where some of the details are intentionally omitted. The issuer "fills in the blanks" by making amendments to the original filing. This process takes longer than a filing where all information is complete; a company uses it when it wishes to start the process of a new issue but has not yet set all of the issue's terms.
