In this case, we can quantize the delays, the amplitude, and the phase of each path and also the Doppler effect term, just for the first block.
Each user quantizes its CDI to a codeword in a given codebook [MATHEMATICAL EXPRESSION NOT REPRODUCIBLE IN ASCII] and the codebook is predetermined and known at both the BSs and user sides.
Then the 15-dimensional VQ codebook is used to vector quantize the diagonal edge blocks.
The fuzzy theory is based on fuzzy sets that express and quantize indefinable fuzzy concepts; it has a good effect on processing the fuzzy phenomena of particular expressions of human languages.
To ensure the correct quantization, an adaptive non-uniform scalar quantization method and a dynamic quantizing template is employed which quantize and by their distance instead of their location on the real number axis.
At the encoder, the ST-Q is used to quantize the CS measurements of video sequence.
Again, in order to quantize this toy model, we impose equal time commutation relations given by (17-19), and by means of normal mode functions [[psi].sub.p] we can expand the field[psi](x, y).
In FDD systems, the effect of quantized CSIT is analyzed in [6] and [7], in which the authors use Grassmannian codebooks to quantize the channel direction information and feedback to transmitters with frequency domain symbol extension.
Scientists had long assumed that only one way existed to quantize physical parameters, but they lacked experimental evidence to support that belief.
To perform the information level modulation, the structured codebooks are designed using uniform quantizes. The watermarked signal is created by the embedding function in order to form the modulated NC with the random signal.
Due to bandwidth and energy limitations, each sensor quantizes its measurement into a [b.sub.i](k)--bit message (where [b.sub.i](k) is the bandwidth to be determined later) and transmits this locally processed data to a FC.
The narrowness of the active region quantizes, or makes discrete, some of the energy levels of the semiconductor material from which the laser is made.
