qualitative data analysis. International Journal of Qualitative Methods, 17(1), 1-13.
Computer Assisted
Qualitative Data Analysis Software (CAQDAS) was employed for data analysis using software NVIVO 11 Pro.
The SAGE handbook of
qualitative data analysis. SAGE Publications, London, 2014: 367-379.
The volume of data generated complicates
qualitative data analysis, and the challenge for the researcher is to conduct an in-depth analysis, and yet presents the findings in a concise and logical way [Clifford, 1997].
A utilizacao de software na analise de dados qualitativos, conhecido na literatura como
Qualitative Data Analysis Software (QDAS) tem vindo a crescer ao longo dos ultimos anos.
Themes were generated as the data were coded and categorized, typical of
qualitative data analysis. Although the eight themes that the researchers found were not listed, they did state that the themes were embedded in the C-SHIP theoretical framework (Miller et al., 1996) that supported the study.
The researchers used a critical qualitative approach in collecting data and NVivo 10
qualitative data analysis software to interpret data.
Given the limited nature of automated
qualitative data analysis, the manual coding of data is often also employed by researchers to extract meaning and explore abstract ideas.
Quantitatively oriented teams might also have access to qualitative data that they would like to analyze and make sense of, but lack the analytical tools to do so (for a detailed introduction to
qualitative data analysis, see Bradley, Curry, and Devers 2007).
The Prosecutor General NAB informed about the observations passed by Supreme Court about lack of monitoring and evaluation (M and E) framework within NAB and non availability to ensure quantitative and
qualitative data analysis and need to implement SOPs already in place.
