Dispersion

In statistics, the placement of data points along a chart relative to an average or mean line. Dispersion is important to finance as the data points of say, a stock, determine the mean, which in turn helps determines the stock's trend. Dispersion is also used to determine volatility: data points all over the chart indicate that a stock has wild fluctuation in price.

In addition, we determined that the repolarization parameters of atrial and ventricular increased with increasing age, while only maternal age was predictive of QTc dispersion. Due to socio-economic improvements and the prolongation of education, women have started becoming pregnant later in life.
In a study evaluating the risk of cardiac arrhythmia in a preeclampsia (PE) group, the maximum QT, QTc dispersion, Tp-e interval, and Tp-e/QTc ratio values were found to be significantly higher in the PE group than in the healthy pregnant group.13 Another study examining the changes in atrial and ventricular repolarization markers during pregnancy found that P dispersion, maximum QTc interval, Tp-e interval and Tp-e/QT ratio were increased in late pregnancy, but still remained within the normal range.14 Recently, Braschi et al.
QTc dispersion was calculated using the difference between the maximum and the minimum QTc in any thoracic lead.
There was a significant positive correlation between SD and QTc dispersion (r: 0.
QTc dispersion (QTc max-QTc min) was also calculated.
We found no correlation between duration time at bath and QTc dispersion (r=-0.069 p=0.646) (Fig.
Each QT interval was corrected by heart rate according to Bazett's formula [QTc = QT / [(R-R).sup.1/2]] and then QTc dispersion was calculated.
42.0 [+ or -] 14.3 ms, p=0.007) and QTc dispersion (73.0 [+ or -] 28.4 ms vs.
Results: Hemodialysis patients had significantly greater QTc dispersion compared to that of control subjects (61.7 [+ or -] 23.0 msec vs.

Maximum QTc interval (from 446 [+ or -] 19 ms to 433 [+ or -] 27 ms, p=0.024) and QTc dispersion (from 66 [+ or -] 18 ms to 52[+ or -]25 ms, p=0.024) significantly decreased after weight loss program.
Although we do not know enough its cardiovascular and pro-arrhythmic effects yet, in order to investigate the relationship between weight loss and QTc dispersion in obese subjects, it would be better to exclude the patients receiving orlistat.
