a UK Act which empowers the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry to issue ‘orders’, as appropriate, to protect consumers from vague, inaccurate and confusing PRICE claims made by traders. See PRICE MARKING (BARGAIN OFFERS) ORDER 1979, DEPARTMENT OF TRADE AND INDUSTRY, CONSUMER PROTECTION.
