Ecto-and endo-parasitic monogeneans (
Platyhelminthes) on cultured freshwater exotic fish species in the state of Morelos, South-Central Mexico.
Staining of
Platyhelminthes by herbal dyes: An eco-friendly technique for the taxonomist.
The turbellarian Urastoma cyprinae (
Platyhelminthes: Urastomidae) associated with natural and commercial populations of Mytilus galloprovincialis and Mytilus californianus from Baja California, NW Mexico.
We stained
platyhelminthes (Cestoda) with Meyer's paracarmin, dehydrated through a graded ethanol series, cleared in methyl salicylate, and mounted in Canada balsam.
However, some taxa (e.g., Brachiopoda, Nemertea,
Platyhelminthes, and Porifera) were identified only to phylum level because no thorough identification keys exist for Canadian Arctic waters; we acknowledge that this study has probably underestimated the richness of these taxa.

Platyhelminthes Class Rhabditophora Rhabditophora indet.
Recent findings extend such complex sociality to a new phylum- the
Platyhelminthes. Trematode flatworms clonally form colonies in their molluscan first intermediate hosts, and some species have a reproductive and a soldier caste.
The analysis of fecal matter also revealed the presence of an unidentified cestode (
Platyhelminthes: Cestoda), indicating parasitic infection by flatworms (Villa, 2007).
PHYLOGENY OF VERTEBRATE BLOOD FLUKES (
PLATYHELMINTHES: DIGENEA; SCHISTOSOMATOIDEA), WITH EMPHASIS ON "FISH BLOOD FLUKES" (APOROCOTYLIDAE).
