You name it, we have it: groupware, firmware, vaporware,
peopleware, and (the subject of this column) shareware.
By the time you finish this edition of Communications, we hope you'll be convinced the key to a successful development project is not in the hardware or software, but rather "
peopleware."
This is not hardware, not software, but
peopleware, a singularly apt neologism introduced in 1976 by Peter G.
Many books give good advice in this area, among them DeMarco and Lister's excellent
Peopleware [10].
DeMarco and Lister, in their
Peopleware book, describe an especially zealous group known as the Black Team.
