The most important aspect is that sFlow provides full packet headers, which contain the complete set of data processed by flow analysis.
The packet header carries encoded multicast tree path information (node IDs) using the Prufer sequence [26].
BIG-IP software includes iRules, a powerful new tool for determining how to handle different traffic or application types based on any information in the packet header and/or the payload--enhancing the enterprise's ability to customize their application-switching to suit their exact needs.
For another example, timing information may be carried in every packet header (in-band) or separate packets (out-of-band) to measure packet delays.
Packet data is copy-on-write--when copying a packet, the system copies the packet header but not the data.
The result is shuffled and placed inside the packet header with z.
For [C.sub.M], during one period [DELTA]T, the data amount sent to [C.sub.M-1] is as formula (1), and the data amount of packet header in it is [D.sup.H.sub.M]= [S.sub.M] * q * [N.sub.u] * X * l.
It presented a great idea in providing unlinkability to a network by introducing a new, routable, randomly generated, and periodically changing identifier named nonce to the packet header, normalizing other identifiers at network layer two and layer three and encrypting payload in layer three using existing security protocols.
We use different natural numbers to identify different attributes, and extend the packet header to carry this value.
IPv6 MPL Shasmore queing delay than IPv4 because of the fact that the packet header is larger in IPv6 than in IPv4, the addition of the MPLS header increases the packet size even more.
It is because when the router's degrees are under the threshold our scheme marks the router's interface number [UI.sub.i] into the fixed-size packet header. When [UI.sub.i]'s maximum number increases with the degree, the index value has to decrease.
