PLZ

ISO 4217 code for the third Polish zloty. It was issued in 1950. For most of its history, it was an inconvertible currency because Poland was under Communist rule, and its exchange rate was set by the government. In 1990, it became a convertible currency. It was redenominated and replaced by the fourth zloty in 1995.
