An electronic exchange specializing in futures contracts, narrow based indices, and exchange-traded funds. A unique feature of OneChicago is the presence of lead market makers, who are assigned to individual contracts and ensure that a two-sided market exists continuously for the contracts assigned to them. It is a joint venture of the IB Exchange Board, Chicago Board Options Exchange and the CME Group; the memberships for each of these exchanges are reciprocal for OneChicago.
