NEO

Abbreviation for nonequity options, which are options contracts on foreign currencies, debt issues, commodities, and stock indexes.

Non-Equity Option

An option contract on anything other than stock. Common examples of NEOs include commodities, currencies, indices, bonds, and even other options.
