Mid-Cap

Describing a publicly-traded company with medium amount in market capitalization. In general, a mid-cap company has a market capitalization of between $2 billion and $10 billion, but there is no hard-and-fast rule. Some brokerages or exchanges have slightly different definitions of mid-cap. Some indexes track mid-cap companies, as do some exchange traded funds. See also: High-cap, Low-cap.

Micro and mid cap stock equities suffered the most during the week that witnessed QSE announce that the first batch of small and medium enterprises to hit its junior Venture Market by the end of this year.
The fund's investment manager, Ocean Dial Asset Management added: "The period witnessed a wide divergence in performance between the large cap and mid cap stocks, a trend which has continued since 2018."
Small and mid cap stocks in power, chemical and cement stocks were volume leaders on the trade chart.
